of last centaury, peoples started to deny Hinduism.They believed and declared all the rituals or method of Worship related to Hinduism is outdated or Barbarian.

Common peoples are still far away from

Our culture, sometimes it may be because of the confusion they are facing to derive the meanings of ‘Vedantha’ from present materialistic philosophies. Somebody tried to present themselves as “Sir Realist”;

Obviously, in every aspect everybody is in search of short-cuts.

This made such a large number of bloody "Yukthi Vaadi 

in Present era.

Within a short span of time we have to apologize for this and

accept the entire  Hindu philosophy, Vedantha

and Rituals are HUMAN and closely related to our Nature.

However, I am very glad to find the efforts made to preserve

our unique Vedic Culture and propagandas related

to the necessity of following a  simple life.

See how others like Prof Frits Staal chose to spend

 years of his life documenting Athirathram,

He wrote in the Preface of his t book ‘AGNI’-

Prof Staal, currently Emeritus as 

Professor of Philosophy

South & Southeast Asian Studies 

at the University of California, specialized in the study of

Vedic ritual  and Mantras, 

The Scientific Exploration of Ritual and 

Mysticism. He studied Greek,

Indian logic ,Philosophy and

Sanskrit Grammar.

Published the two-volume book

‘AGNI –The Vedic Ritual of the Fire Altar’

which is considered as an authentic  record of Athirathram 

 held at  Panjal in 1975.

Experts and Geologists warns that we have to
focus on current and potential environmental problems   
and drastic Water scarcity which we are going to 

face during the coming decades.


Did they suggest any remedial measures to 
overcome this?
Certainly, 
If we suffer any physical illness we will consult
doctor.Just like this it is the time to preserve our
natural resources.
Contamination of water is another problem.
Protest against those who are 
contaminating the natural resources 
and pulling us to Global diasture


Some remote villages of Andhra Pradesh were 
on the brim of famine during the late 90's,
because of the scarcity of water. 
Now they almost overcame the crisis. 
It might be applicable to all parts of our country.
Like other factory products it is not possible to 
produce drinking water!. What we have to do is,
to preserve the natural resources.
RAIN WATER HARVESTING is the best 
remedy to preserve water.Government 
iimplemented plenty of programs in Five Year Plans 
in this regard. Try our best to bring such 
developments to our society,but for that 
we have to overcome the obstacles made
 by the bureaucrats. Public awareness 
should be the first one. Enough financial 
support to be given to the society. 
In addition to the declaration of 
programs related to such policies, 
Government  has the responsibility 
to ensure that it is available to all 
without any discrimination. 
Political,financial or family background 
should not be considered as criteria. 


Start to celebrate our mother's birthday. 
Let's do the best of our ability and pray
for her 'existence'

Some thing to be noticed..............

India won the CRICKET WORLD CUP 2011.
Mukesh Ambani became or remains as NO. 1
in the world based on his assets.
India developed new generation weapons domestically.
India achieved self sufficiency in agriculture...
developments.......developments.......developments.
Al round developments are there in India now.
Yet, what is happening to the educational developments?.
Some reputed institutions are producing high yielding graduates.
Financially sound students are getting standard education.
What about common people?
Are they able to get such education...?or
able to provide such education to their children.
A serious discussion is necessary in this regard.
Let's consider the Students of some remote villages in Maharashtra.
During my sojourn I spent two years in such a village.
"Narayangaon" (Narayangav) is the name of that village.
While conducting classes I got chances to examine
the students general knowledge and basic education,
their awareness about personal hygiene.
The actual situation of this place is not
so good when compared to the cities like Pune or Mumbai.
Starting from the basic personal hygiene,
the peoples are not bother about the
importance of neatness.
The students, irrespective of their family background
seems  to be "Barbarians".
I can point out some important points :-
a) No regular bath!
   (How can we insist for taking bath two times a day)
b) Not using proper toilets !
C) Hair cutting and nail cutting are occasional things !.
d) No regular brushing of teeth and tongue cleaning !.
e) No proper cloth washing !.
f) THEY WILL NOT WASH HANDS AND MOUTH 
   before or EVEN AFTER HAVING FOOD or drinks.
g) They will swallow the water after rinsing the mouth.
i)  While discussing with a doctor I came to know that

   even during mensuration ladies are not taking 

   care about hygiene.

Another point which I want to put forward is that the peoples
are not aware about the necessity of having planned food.
Excluding some dishes made up  of wheat they don't have any
healthy food.
Pregnant women or baby feeding women will not get any
special consideration in the family.
As most of the peoples are engaged with agriculture
they got isolated from the main stream.

The bureaucrats, who are responsible for bringing the
developments to the village are actually exploiting the
villagers.
Bribe and other practices are common in all offices.
Because of the lack of English language,
common people  are not able to approach any authorities
with a complaint.

Cultural Developments
The circulation of news paper is good.
But National News papers are not so much
popular.
The peoples don't know about any dance forms
except DANDIYA
They don't know about any musics except
film songs.
Libraries are a strange thing in the area!
Thus general reading is not possible.

Peoples don't know about our Epics, Vedas or
Upanishads - Indian Culture.
Peoples are totally ignorant about other Religions
Culture and Countries

Peoples don't know about literature- their language
Marathi.
(Always saying that our National language is Marathi !)

These are some facts I have noticed with my
experience here in Narayangaon.

I have only one request to the authorities that
Please do something to improve the standard of
the young generation in this State.
Otherwise they will be thrown out from the main
stream soon.

ഭുവി കേവല നിത്യ വൃത്തി കാംക്ഷിച്ചു രണ്ടായിരത്തി

 ഒന്‍പതുകളില്‍ ഞാന്‍ ഒമാനിലെതതിപ്പെടുകയുണ്ടായി.

 തരിശു ഭൂമികളാല്‍ ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ട ഒരു സ്ഥലത്ത് നിര്‍മാണ 

കമ്പനിയാല്‍ നിര്‍മിതമായ താത്കാലിക വാസ സ്ഥലവും 

ജോലിസ്ഥലവും. ആരുടെയൊക്കെയോ പാദസേവ ചെയ്തു

 അനര്‍ഹമായ പദവികളില്‍ എത്തിപ്പെട്ട ചില ഉദ്ദണ്ടന്മാരും,

 അറബി നാട്ടില്‍ ജോലിക്കെത്ത്തിയിട്ടുള്ളവരെല്ലാം നാട്ടില്‍ 

ഗതിയില്ലാതെ നടക്കുന്നവരല്ല എന്ന് തിരിച്ചറിവുള്ള  ചുരുക്കം

 ചില നല്ല മലയാളികളെയും തുടര്‍ നാളുകളില്‍ കണ്ടുമുട്ടി. 

കമ്പ്യൂട്ടര്‍ ഓപ്പറേറ്റര്‍ എന്ന ജോലിക്കെത്തിയ ഞാന്‍ പലപ്പോഴും 

പൊരി വെയിലില്‍ ജോലിക്ക് നിയോഗിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ഇതൊക്കെ 

ഗള്‍ഫില്‍ പതിവാണെന്ന് കര കര ശബ്ദത്തോടെ ഒരു മഹാന്‍ 

എന്നെ ഓര്‍മപ്പെടുത്തി. ഇയാള്‍ക്ക് ഉന്നതങ്ങളിലുള്ള ബന്ധം

 കാരണം ലഭിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ശംബളത്തിന്റെ ഉത്തരവാദിത്വം

 എന്ന വ്യാജേന സഹപ്രവര്‍ത്തകരെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടിക്കുകയാണ് 

ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നത്. നാട്ടില്‍ ഒരു ജോലി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത് 

അറിഞ്ഞത് മുതല്‍ പതിമൂന്നു- പതിന്നാലു മണിക്കൂര്‍ ജോലി

 ചെയ്യാന്‍ ഞാന്‍ നിര്‍ബന്ധിതനായി. തിരിച്ചു  നാട്ടിലേക്ക്

 വന്നാല്‍ ഉണ്ടാവുന്ന തുറിച്ചുനോട്ടം മാത്രം ഓര്‍ത്തു അവിടെ

 തുടരാന്‍ ഞാന്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. 

എന്തായാലും ദൈവാനുഗ്രഹത്താല്‍ പത്ത് ദിവസത്തിനകം 

അവിടെ നിന്നും മറ്റൊരു സ്ഥലത്തേക്ക് മാറാന്‍ എനിക്ക്

 അനുവാദം കിട്ടി. ഗള്‍ഫ്‌ ജീവിതത്തിലെ പുത്തരിയില്‍ 

ഉണ്ടായ കല്ല്‌ കടി മാറി. നൈറ്റ്‌ ഡ്യൂട്ടി ചെയ്യാന്‍ അനുവാദം,

 നാല്ലവരായ കുറെ സഹ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍,ജീവിതം  ആകെ

 സുഖമായി മാറാന്‍ തുടങ്ങി. 

അവിടെ നിന്നും കുറെ ദൂരെ മറ്റൊരു സ്ഥലത്ത് കമ്പനിയുടെ

 തന്നെ ക്യാമ്പിലേക്ക് ഇടക്കിടെ ചില എന്ട്രികളും മറ്റും

 ചെയ്യുവാന്‍ പോയിരുന്നു. അപ്പോഴാണ്‌ അഹങ്കാരത്തിന്റെ 

മൂര്ത്തിമദ് ഭാവമായ ഒരു മലയാളിയെ കണ്ടത്. 

സംസാരാരംഭത്തില്‍ തന്നെ ഇടത്തോട്ടുള്ള ഒരു തലവെട്ടിക്കലോടെ

താന്‍ വലിയ ആളാണെന്ന് ദ്യോതിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ചില പ്രസ്താവനകള്‍ നടത്തി.

തുടര്‍ച്ചയായ കണ്ടുമുട്ടലുകളില്‍ എല്ലാം മറ്റുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് 

വെറുപ്പുണ്ടാക്കുന്ന അംഗ വിക്ഷേപത്തോടെ ഉച്ചാരണ വൈകല്യം

 കലര്‍ന്ന മലയാളവും ഇംഗ്ലീഷും കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തു " എന്റെ ഓര്‍മയില്

ഞാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞ പത്തു വര്‍ഷമായി ഡ്രൈവ് ചെയ്യാറുണ്ട്, 

വളരെ ഫദ്രമായി (ഇവിടെ ഫാന്‍ എന്ന് പറയുമ്പോലെ

 ആണ് ഭദ്രം എന്ന് പറയുന്നത്) ഹൈവേയില്‍ പോലും 

ഞാന്‍ ഡ്രൈവ് ചെയ്യും" അങ്ങനെ എന്തെല്ലാമോ പൊങ്ങച്ചങ്ങള്‍ 

പറയാറുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. 

ഒരു ദിവസം ഏതോ ഇ-മെയിലിനെ ക്കുറിച്ച് പറഞ്ഞു 

പറഞ്ഞു മലയാളത്തെ ക്കുറിച്ചായി സംസാരം. 

മലയാള "ഫാഷയെ" കൊല്ലുന്നത്‌ സഹിക്കാന്‍ മേലാഞ്ഞു 

ഞാനും അല്പം സംസാരിച്ചു.

താന്‍ വലിയ ആളാണെന്നുള്ള ഭാവത്തോടെ അയാള്‍ ഇങ്ങനെ

 ഒരു പ്രസ്താവന നടത്തി.

എങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞാലെന്നാ നമ്മടെ ഐഡിയ മറ്റുല്ലോര്‍ക്ക്

 മനസ്സിലാക്കാനാ  "ഫാഷ", അല്ലാതെ "സന്തീം" "സമസോം"

 ഒന്നും നോക്കി കോമണ്‍ 

പീപ്പില്‍സിനു വര്‍ത്താനം പറയാന്‍ പറ്റുമോ.... !!!

ഇത്തരത്തില്‍, നാണം കെട്ട മലയാളിയല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊരു

 ഭാഷക്കാരനും അവന്റെ ഭാഷയെ നിന്ദിച്ചു സംസാരിക്കില്ല.

സ്ഥല നാമങ്ങളെല്ലാം സ്വന്തം ഭാഷയില്‍ വേണമെന്ന് മറാഠിയും,

 ഗുജറാത്തിയും, ബംഗാളിയും നിര്‍ബന്ധം പിടിക്കുമ്പോള്‍

 മലയാളത്തെ അവഗണിച്ചും അവഹേളിച്ചും മുന്നേറാനാണ് ഒരു കൂട്ടര്‍

 ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത്. മൂന്ന് നാല് വര്‍ഷമായി ഒരു ചാനല്‍ 

കൊട്ടിഘോഷിക്കുന്ന സംഗീത മാമാങ്കത്തില്‍ 

അവതാരക എത്ര വികൃതമായാണ് മലയാളം പറയുന്നത്. 

മലയാളത്തിനു ക്ലാസ്സിക് പദവി ലഭിക്കുവാന്‍ വേണ്ടി

 അശ്രാന്ത പരിശ്രമം നടത്തിയവരോ, ഭാഷാ സ്നേഹികളോ,

 നിയമ പാലകരോ, നീതിന്യായവ്യവസ്ഥയോ ,

മന്ത്രിപുംഗവന്മാരോ ആരും ഇതിനെതിരെ പ്രതികരിക്കുന്നില്ല

 എന്നത് മഹാ കഷ്ടം തന്നെ.

സിനിമ അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ടി വി മനുഷ്യ മനസ്സുകളെ വളരെ വേഗം

 സ്വാധീനിക്കുന്ന ഒന്നാണ്.വ്യക്തമായി, ശുദ്ധമായി 

 മലയാളം പറയുന്ന ഒരു ജനത ഇവിടെ ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.

എത്ര വലിയ ആളായാലും,  മലയാളത്തെ വികൃതമായി 

 ഉച്ചരിക്കുന്നത് കേട്ടാല്‍ തിരുത്താനുള്ള സ്ഥൈര്യം നമുക്കുണ്ടാവണം. 

അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ വരുന്ന ഒരു തലമുറക്കപ്പുറം നമ്മുടെ നമ്മുടെ മാതൃഭാഷ നില നില്‍ക്കില്ല...!!!!!!!!!!!

"ഭാരതമെന്ന പേര്‍ കേട്ടാല്‍ അഭിമാനപൂരിതമാകണം അന്തരംഗം

കേരളമെന്നു കേട്ടാലോ തിളക്കണം ചോര നമുക്ക് ഞരമ്പുകളില്‍".

 എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞത് പോലെ എന്ത് വില കൊടുത്തും നമുക്ക് മലയാളത്തെ രക്ഷിക്കണം. 

    

       

   

   

               

The Ultimate aim

What is the ultimate aim of our youngsters?.

To become a Doctor?, Engineer?, Professor?, 

Sometimes they might have  heard these names but what about 

to be a Teacher? Journalist? Scientist?...... 

No chance....The spoon feeders made them 

idle.....amul babies.

When I went  through the present education system-

especially related to CBSE,  I wondered how dare the 

authorities...?Educational reformers...?.

They have no interest in the standard of the 

education. To improve the percentage of the result is their motto.

Just think about Kerala S.S.L.C. result of last five years.

Some allegations are their that a hidden agenda of 

world bank is being executed because of the power of BRIBE;

Whatever it may be.

While announcing the result, we heard that our Hon'ble Minister was proudly 

saying about the exaggerated Percentage. And also promised that his aim was

to have a 100% result in the coming S.S.L.C. examinations.

What will we get if we are producing a large number of book worms?

Even the eighth standard students are discussing about the 

Chances they are going to get after having a management degree.

Or how to hook up a much reliable job abroad.

Once our Most respected living legend, former President Dr. A.P.J 

Abdul Kalam said "Start DREAMING, that would help you to reach

your Ultimate aim"

Our children or youngsters are losing their childhood because of the 

over stress we imposed on them.

They don't know how to behave in a strange condition, when facing a

failure, or having a great success.

They found themselves as big Zero in general knowledge.

The dreadful thing is that the upcoming generation is far away from our

Great Culture.

The reality shows also paved the way for this.

To be popular in Channels or Cinema is very good or interesting, yet

is that our ultimate aim.

In an interview one actress revealed the secret of getting chances in

Cinema, "If you are ready for some adjustments, you will get more chances"

We must do adjustments in our life, but if it is done by ignoring 

moral and cultural values what may the benefit.

After reaching a materialistic supremo we can realize that what we'd achieved 

is nothing

Our, Indian culture is very closely related to family life; the relations between 

family members is its foundation stone. 

Running after success will lead us to agony.

Famous actor Padmasree, Leut: Dr. Bharat Mohanlal said 

" I never chased anything, or pre-planned anything. Everything 

which I have in my life is happened by faith"

It doesn't mean that he was lazy or merely sitting at 

home waiting for a chance. He did his duty sincerely and in-time.

Before 20-25 years what was the condition in our education.

In addition to the lessons, our Great teachers opened a treasure of 

knowledge in front of us.

Each class without considering the subject was a treasure hunt.

Once in Maharashtra while conducting a class, a student (CBSE);

who was the first rank holder;complained to me that I was speaking 

about out off syllabus matters in the class. 

The present system followed in some schools in Maharashtra is

i) Write question answers on the board.

ii) Force the students to by heart it.

iii) No teaching notes should be given.

iv) No explanation is needed about the lessons.

v) No necessity to ensure that whether the pupils are 

   aware of  the portions or not.

vi) Worksheets should be given- means the Question paper,

   minimum two weeks prior to the examinations.

viii)No long answer questions are  to be given.

ix) If students failed to write the long answers that is 

   only because of the in-efficiency of the teacher.

x) For projects don't give any subjects from outside the text book.

   ( I asked the VIIth std. students to make a project regarding the 

    Jnanapeedh award and any of the award winner. Principal

    called me and scolded for it and finally concluded that this is 

    not Kerala for following such waste things.)

xi) Question paper patterns should be given.

Here are some questions I faced both from students 

and teachers of Maharashtra:-

i) Is Kerala is situated in Chennai/ Kannad/ Tamil Nadu?.

ii) What is the CURRENCY of Kerala? (By a C.B.S.E.Teacher).

iii)Are Kerala people living in muddy huts?.

iv) Is Passport  necessary to reach Kerala (By a C.B.S.E.Teacher).

v) Are you making Vada Pav - (the only one snack they 

   know) in the evenings.

vi) Are there any side-dishes except Methi and Dhania

   (What could I say about our delicious 28 items Sadya) 

I remembered the story of FROG IN THE WELL and 

felt pity on them.

  

 The State Board or C.B.S.E. are not taking any interest in controlling these

type of silly education they are selling for huge money; or the violators are 

exempting them from getting controlled.

Obviously turning to Kerala,  we lost the credibility of our education.

Our children are not able to face the reality, because of the over stress they

are facing - they will lose their life itself.

Think about...................................

What can we do to convince the educational reformers?.

What can we do to improve the educational standard of our children?.

What can we do to have a better generation?

രണ്ടായിരത്തി പതിനൊന്നു മാര്‍ച്ച്‌ മാസം അവസാനം എന്റെ ഗുരുനാഥ

 പുഷ്കല ടീച്ചറിനെ ഞാന്‍ വീട്ടില്‍ ചെന്ന് കണ്ടു. കഴിഞ്ഞ തവണ 

കാണുമ്പോള്‍, ടീച്ചറിന്റെ ഭര്‍ത്താവിന്റെ മരണാനന്തര ചടങ്ങുകള്‍

 നടക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. മുന്‍പ് തന്നെ 

ആ കുടുംബവുമായി എനിക്ക് പരിചയം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

ദീര്‍ഘ നാളുകള്‍ക്കു ശേഷം ടീച്ചറിനെ കാണാന്‍ ചെന്നത് 

അത് പോലെ ഒരു അവസരത്തില്‍ ആയതില്‍ ഒരുപാടു വിഷമം 

തോന്നി. 

ടീച്ചര്‍ കരയരുതേ എന്ന് പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനയോടെ ആണ് ഞാന്‍ അവിടേക്ക് ചെന്നത്.

ഒരു പാട് വിഷമ ഘട്ടങ്ങളില്‍ സാന്ത്വനമോ, ഉപദേശമോ അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ വാത്സല്യപൂര്‍ണമായ 

ഒരു നോട്ടമോ കൊണ്ട് ഞങ്ങളെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്ന ടീച്ചര്‍ കരയുന്നത് കാണാന്‍ 

എനിക്ക് കരുത്തില്ല. പക്ഷെ കുറെ നേരത്തേക്ക് എന്റെ കണ്ണുകള്‍ നിറഞ്ഞിരുന്നതിനാല്‍ 

ടീച്ചര്‍ കരഞ്ഞത് ഞാന്‍ കണ്ടില്ല എന്ന് ആശ്വസിക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചു വേഗം അവിടെ നിന്ന് 

ഞാന്‍ തിരിയെ പോയി. 

ഈയിടെ വീണ്ടും കാണുമ്പോള്‍ ടീച്ചരിന്റ്റെ സ്വത സിദ്ധമായ പ്രസന്ന ഭാവം 

നിസ്സoഗതയെ മറയ്ക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത് കണ്ടു. 

മക്കളൊക്കെ (രണ്ടു പേര്‍) കൊള്ളാവുന്ന ജോലിയുമായി ദൂരെയാണ്. 

അല്പം സാമൂഹ്യ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനവുമായി ടീച്ചര്‍ ആ വലിയ വീട്ടില്‍ ഉണ്ട്.

എന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ സുഖമില്ലായ്മ അറിഞ്ഞപ്പോള്‍ ടീച്ചര്‍ എന്നെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചു. 

എല്ലാം ശരി ആകും എന്ന്‌ പറഞ്ഞു.

അവസരത്തിലും അനവസരത്തിലും ഭംഗിയായി സംസാരിക്കാന്‍ കഴിവുണ്ട് എന്ന്‌ 

അഹങ്കരിച്ചിരുന്ന എനിക്ക് എന്റ്റെ ടീച്ചറിനോട് ഒരു വാക്ക് പോലും പറയാന്‍

കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.

SREE THEERDHAPADASRAMAM

SREE THEERDHAPADASRAMAM

Sree Theerdhapadasramam is situated at T.P.Puram, Kottayam Dist, Kerala. 

Very near to Kodungoor. (2.8 K M from NH 220). It is believed that the 

Asramam was founded by Sree Theerdha Pada Paramahamsa Swamikal, Who 

was a desciple of Jagatguru Parama Bhattara Sree Chattampi Swamikal. 

The Asramam reached at the zenith of its Glory during 1965 to 1990. 

Sreemad Vidyananda Theerdha Pada Swamikal was the Madhathipathi till 1985.

And after swamijees samadhi Sreemad Chitswaroopananda Theerdha Pada Swamikal and Sreemad Pranjananda Theerdha Pada Swamikal  was assumed as the Madhathipathi

of Asramam respectievely. These grate Maharshies laid foundation stone of the alround developments of 

Vazhoor, Especially Theerdhapada Puram.

      Even now Satsangas, Antharyogas, Vedantha classes, Sapthahams, Japas, Archanas and other rituals are conducting very devotionally in the Asramam regularly.

      The most important thing is that Asramam or the Madhathipathi has no interest in propaganda for fame and not doing any Physical celebrations or human god worship 

      N.S.S. College and School was started with the blessings and efforts of  Swamikal and Asramam donated the Land for making the infrastructure.

ALWAYS ASRAMAM AND THE NISHKAMA KARMAYOGEES OF ASRAMAM WILL STAND FOR HUMANITY
